Not sure how to get them, but I feel like it would be pretty cool to have Models of the characters and enemies from the games. I know we have some of the textures of some characters but I'm not all sure on how possible it is to rip the full models. 🤔
@CybermanHorsecollar Agreed, probably can figure things out on Twitter too maybe.
Yeah, I'm not on Twitter so I haven't seen if the Team's social media posts are good or not. They also have a Discord, but I'm not on that either.
@GoombaBroadcast that's very neat! I'm not about to do that!
But hey, Gamecube and Wii are different. Very odd. In my opinion, I prefer custom graphics, but ripped graphics are WAY easier.
I know this is pretty late, but I have ripped almost all EM2 characters (except the Mad Doc) from the PC version with Ninjaripper.
@Miss-Cerasus Don't worry, it's never too late! That's very interesting. Tell me, are you by chance associated with the Epic Team?
@CybermanHorsecollar I was. I ripped the models for the Epic team, but quit because of problems I had IRL and because my laptop wasn't able to rip the models anymore. But I still have the models with the textures on Mega.nz and I am willing to post them online.
Okay. Yeah, if you could post those on the wiki, that would be really nice. The Epic Team has some issues, do don't worry about leaving them.
@CybermanHorsecollar I uploaded the models via Mediafire and posted a blog here on this wiki with the download link. Can I ask why the Epic team has issues? Do they have problems with developing?
If I sounded like I'm trying to insult them, sorry. I am not meaning to do so in any way and I support the Epic Team and am very excited for Epic Oswald. However, I strongly disagree with the developer of Epic Oswald hosting other games that are usually cheap, complete rip-offs (like the "Alice in Wonderland" game that is basically the Wii game) and also being affiliated with people who are unprofessional and then putting the Epic Team name on those games.
Let me be simple: If you want people to like your game, MAKE IT PROFESSIONAL. Cheap stuff never works. For instance, consider the game Epic Mickey 2D that was made by an Epic Team affiliate. It copies a ton of Epic Mickey Power of Illusion stuff, which isn't that bad since it's hard to make custom graphics. But my main issue with 2D is that it was thrown together fast and cheap. I don't think it was even tested, as the painting mechanic locks up constantly and the part of the game where thinner rises fast under you is impossible. Trust me, it's not because I'm not good at games. I've played games like Cuphead, which makes 2D look like a joke. It's just that the game is cheap, cheap, cheap. I don't want Epic Oswald to turn out like that.
I understand that the dev of Epic Oswald wants to have a "team" backing him, but the way he's doing it is really desperate and not good at all.
What do you think?
