Hey! Just a quick notice that I may be going ham on the Quest pages! If you have any reccomendations of Quests that I should overhaul send me a Message! I'll be open to suggestions for edits and pages.
(Note that this is for Epic Mickey 1 not 2.)
Both Epic Mickey and its sequel had great ideas, but which one executed those ideas better? Let's check it out based on some criteria: story, gameplay, graphics, worlds, and soundtrack.
Story: Epic Mickey: The first game tells a tale that surpasses the quality of a lot of modern Disney films. It introduces a lot of gamers to Oswald, and the beginning and ending cutscenes are pretty cool. Powerhouse Animation did a spectacular job animating the main cutscenes. However, since there's no voice acting, there's just written dialogue. The Blot is a great villain though and some of the other characters shine as well.
Epic Mickey 2: The story of the Mad Doctor pulling the Guardians out of Wasteland could have been told well, but it wasn't. To make m…
Hiya, Eeeebray here,
I decided to make a tutorial how to extract the Epic Mickey 2 soundfiles from the Steam version and extract the soundfiles in their correct names with the Caftool program!
What you need: Ravioli Extractor and the Caftool made by RampantLeaf.
Ravioli Extractor: http://www.scampers.org/steve/sms/other.htm
Let us start with downloading the Ravioli Extractor!
Open a new internet tab and copy and paste this internet site: http://www.scampers.org/steve/sms/other.htm
Go to the Download section and download Version 2.10. After it is downloaded, extract it somewhere on your PC.
After thats done, just head …
Hi, this is my first post here, and... I kinda wondered something. Do someone has (or have) the full picture of Pirate Pette's photo? I do remember having it but I accidentally erased it before publishing here... I do also remembered seen a photo showing the cast of characters in Epic Mickey 2, and in there I saw both normal and Pirate Pete’s there in full body and without a peg leg... anyways, if someone finds here, I would be glad to thank ye, please....
I have now found one of the images about Pirate Pete (the full one), now i need to find the other one...
With a video tutorial, it is possible to change the PC textures of Epic Mickey 2 via Texmod easily.
First you have to rename the "DEM2.exe" to "DEM2original" Download Texmod and drag "Texmod.exe" into the Epic Mickey 2 game directory of Steam.
Now rename "Texmod.exe" into "DEM2" and open Steam, chose EM2 in your steam game library and open it.
Whenever it asks you to choose between the launcher or just playing the game, chose the playing game option and Texmod will pop up.
Now click on the yellow folder and chose the "EM2original.exe" and go to "Logging Mode" tab to make your settings (such as the directory, where you wish to let Texmod save the captured textures or the image format. PNG is the best option) and click on "Run" to let th…
There is currently a rumor going around that Epic Mickey will have a remake. (Goes and checks news) Nope. Nothing new. Well, anyways, some of the original EM concepts were suprisingly dark. Kinda scary, actually. Like the Blot, who looked like he came straight out of a nightmare. It was a little freaky.
Now, personally I would have liked to see Epic Mickey be darker. It had its dark moments, sure, but nothing like it could have been. But Disney is restricted, as it really can't make a Mickey Mouse game that would be scary. In fact, Disney was almost pushing its limits.
Well, EM came, and then it went. It was underrated, and quite the disapointment for the fans who were thinking it was going to be nightmare fuel.
But then came the year 2017. …
Since many people ask for the 3D models of the Epic Mickey characters, I decided to showcase the EM2 3D models I ripped with Ninjaripper years ago. I apologize if some things are not in the correct order, but it was a lot of hard work to rip all these models and textures years ago.
Whenever you decide to use the models online, no matter if for SFM or uploading these on Model Rescource, please credit me with "Eeeebray" because it took many hours of hard work to get these. Except crediting me, you can use them for projects or all sort of fun things, to bring more joy to the people who love Epic Mickey and would love to work on the models.
While the Mad Doctor is missing, I will work to update the folders with new stuff, as Ninjaripper seems to…
Just wanted to thank everyone for working so hard lately to make this wiki a better place! It's really cool what some of you have been up to!
Will there ever be another Epic Mickey game? Let's consider the factors:
- Junction Point, the developer of the games, has been shut down by Disney.
- Disney tends to shy away from serious Mickey Mouse stuff. He's gotta be all cute and cuddly- a blatant disgrace to what he once was.
- However, Epic Mickey probably helped to start the new Mickey Mouse cartoon series on Disney+ and Disney Channel, as this new series makes Mickey out to be more mischievous than before. He also has his classic look, as in Epic Mickey.
- There is a rumor that there will be a remake. More info as the story unfolds.
- The fan base is small. As far as I know, VERY small.
- Many would like Disney to get back into gaming.
Any comments? Questions? Be sure to ask me! -CybermanHorseco…
Welp, 10 years of Epic Mickey and I've definitely been playing a ton of it. Since I've got pretty used to editing, I'm going to make sure to add more for NPC and Enemies.
My main plans are:
•NPCs watching TV
•Red Eyed Blotlings
•Other Blotling Animations
•EM2 Beetleworx without shells
•Paint and Inert Objects
•Oswald's likeness throughout Epic Mickey
•Video Walthroughs of each Projector Level in Epic Mickey

I've finally hit the jackpot! I can now jump to any part of Epic Mickey 2: The Power of 2 on the PC! I'm not sure if there's something similar in the first game, but it'd be worth trying out! A lot of the test files don't load anything but black screen, possibly because they're remenants of the first game, or they were deleted before the game's release. Still a step in the right direction!
STEPS FOR WINDOWS 7+:
1. Open Notepad as Administrator by right-clicking a shortcut and clicking "Run as administrator"
2. Open ConfigFiles.ini in C:\Program Files (x86)\Disney Interactive Studios\Disney Epic Mickey 2 (may vary depending on your system)
3. On line 206, change "ShowDevLevelLoad=false" to "true"
4. Load the game and go to *LEVEL_SELECT on the men…
Epic Mickey has like no modding support, so I'm putting some tutorial links here for the few things I could find.
HOW TO EXTRACT BNK FILES: There are several bnk files (at least in Epic Mickey 2) that contain .wem files, which can then be converted to ogg audio files. Most of the ones I could find were only sound effects and NPC reaction sounds.
HOW TO EXTRACT PAK FILES: There are tons of pak files with interesting names. Sadly when opened, you're just stuck with mostly .nif files which to my knowlege are impossible to open. Oh well...
To open them, download QuickBMS, click the exe, and follow the instructions and use this script: http://aluigi.alterv…
4 years ago on the 18th was a very special day for many of us Epic Mickey fans. Weeks and months of waiting, fantasizing, dreaming and anticipating finally were about to come to an end as we waited to hold the game case in our hands. Many of us could barely wait to walk out of the store or pick it up in the post and slide the disk into our consoles. Almost 4 years ago, Epic Mickey 2 was released, the second and almost certainly final game of the Epic Mickey series.
And that's as good of an excuse as any to get together again. Join us this Friday in the Wiki chat to celebrate 4 years since the release of Epic Mickey 2! Pass the message along! Get the mods in here, current and past. Look for for inactive prominent users' social accounts or c…
when oswald first created the animatronics, were they all repaired? the tales of wasteland comics say no, but why not? it should have been easy to have created something to fix them. the mad doctor's eyess are the best animatronic eye type, so he obviously had the ability to give them those. so why are they all broken even before the thinner disaster? i wouldv'e waiting until they were 100% done before i brought them to life.
what are the rules to thinning toon? i've noticed that the clocktower's arms are made og some strange toon that seems both paintable AND thinnable. how is that possible? and are real world items succeptable to thinner? also, when wasteland was full toon before the thinner disaster, did everything thin out if you spilled some thinner on the floor? or would their be inert under it? whay do somethings thin out all the way and some thing become inert? why doesn't thinner work on inert things? what was so special about the paint inside the fireworks? how are animatronics thinner-proof? i need an explaination.
Hey, guys! Don't know if any of you guys are interested, but I created an Epic Mickey Discord server if anyone's interested. I find Wikia kind of hard to communicate with, so perhaps something like this would help.
If you've never heard of it, Discord is a chat service, primarily targetted at gamers. It has some really cool features and voice chat, plus it has a web client and app.
Here's the invite: https://discord.epicmickey.wiki/
Although this isn't officially endorsed by the Wiki yet, I'd be willing to promote any wiki mods to admin access.
So, a while back, there was an article on an "Epic Donald" but it was deleted because it wasn't actually a project in development. Or so we thought. Turns out, concept art recently surfaced revealing an "Epic Donald" game that was going to be a follow-up of sorts of Epic Mickey. http://nintendoeverything.com/new-art-reveals-epic-donald-scrapped-follow-up-to-epic-mickey/
Hiya, it is me again.
Well, since loving the Epic Mickey games and being interested into tcrf stuff, I yesterday brought Epic Mickey 2 the power of two from Steam and tried to extract the audio files into the games. From bnk. files to wem files and from wem files to ogg. It worked! Only thing is, many files are just empty or aren´t extractable, which maybe means many of them are just empty or cmd cannot open them correctly. Not sure if someone else did that before, but does anybody have a solution for it? or does anybody here know what this could mean?
If you have the game from Steam, just try it out yourself. Just message me and I´ll give you out the tutorial.
Anybody interested in doing another chat? I've been working on some tools that might help with cleaning up the wiki and I want to hear more about peeking at the files! Perhaps weekly on Saturdays? Please share your thoughts!

I'm making this as a blog post since nobody uses the forums much and forum activity doesn't show up in Wiki Activity.
Since we all seem to be on at different times, different days, it makes it impossible to communicate very well. Would anyone be interested in figuring out a good time for everyone to hop in the chat? I think it'd be fun to have the community together in the Wiki chat to discuss the Wiki and our recent scrapped content hunt.
If you can be there Saturday May 14 8/20:00 GMT+1, just leave a comment down below. It'd be nice to have lots of Epic Mickey wikians there!

Looks like Disney is shutting down Avalanche and canceling the Disney Infinity series for good (I've never owned any of the games, but I played 2.0 at a relative's house a while back, and it was a bit clunky, but it was still ok). Apparently, Disney is going to back out of gaming a bit more than they already have. All they have now is just their mobile apps, EA's Star Wars games (Hopefully the next ones will turn out good), and Kingdom Hearts. My heart goes out to yet another company that lost their jobs because of Disney's financial issues. In my opinion, Disney should stop rushing their games, and give the developers as much time and creative freedom as they want, so the games will do better in sales, reviews, etc. If the news of them ta…
As the admins stated, it is against the rules to upload game files. The Wiki rules have been updated to enforce this. It's reccomended that all users read the rules before editing.
I got hold of the PC version of the game. Seems to run great for the most part on my cheap PC with integrated graphics! I'd reccomend you guys give it a try!
I plan to peek around the files a bit, see if I can figure out how to unpack some of them. Pretty much all I've done so far is figured out how to unpack some audio files and convert them to something playable. I noticed there is a ConfigFiles.ini in the root directory that I don't think changing affects the game (not sure, though). It does have some interesting content, including some mentionings of test leve…
I've noticed that theres a few pictures that are added to pages, but the pictures arent from the EM series. I'm talking about the ones for some of the in-game characters, such as the pirates. I'm not trying to gripe or anything, but I don't think we should use those, and instead just use the ones from the games. (Heres an example http://epicmickey.wikia.com/wiki/Baloo)
Again, I'm not trying to be bossy or anything, I just think that we shouldn't use images like this.
Hello, fellows. Let's put it in a nutshell: I translated the Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two Graphic Novel in English based on Italian scans and the few sketches with English dialogue by Peter David I had found. Most of the dialogue comes from either of three sources: David's English text when I had it, the game, or a translation of the Italian when there was no counterpart ot the comic line in the game that I could paste.
I'm afraid the law would have something to say against me posting every single page here, but gere is the "making-of" of the translation, which will give you the occasion to see many pages in their translated version while also giving you some informations about the Peter David script and the Italian localization I worked b…
This blog is for everything I find related to the beta of the Epic Mickey series. February 17, 2016: Copy and paste from my previous blog. Found a piece of concept art for Epic Mickey. It looks like the Blot was going to turn into a dragon-like form at one point. http://hog-heaven.blogspot.ca/2012/05/epic-mickey.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+HogHeaven-ToddsArtBlaaahhhg+(Hog+Heaven-+Todd's+Art+Blaaahhhg!)&utm_content=Netvibes I also found some concept art on DeviantART for each of the 3 Mickeys. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Epic-Mickey-Concept-1-188071504 http://weslouie.deviantart.com/art/Epic-Mickey-Concept-2-188071583 http://weslouie.deviantart.com/art/Epic-Mickey-Concept-3-188071713 Also, I found an I…

I've played epic mickey since I was four and now that I see there's going to be an epic mickey 3 I'm so excited for it to come out.
So when I came back and learned of all this scrapped content that was gonna be in Epic Mickey 2 such as Pirate Pete I was saddened by this. So I decided to write a fanfic that reboots Epic Mickey 2 and uses plot and story ideas that were not used when the game was rushed. And perhaps after that and if its liked enough an Epic Mickey 3 fanfic based on those pics that came out recently with Robin Hood and Jungle Book characters.
Apologies for not editing in a super long time, I've been preoccupied with tons of other things going on. I check the wiki every now and then, and I keep noticing things about "Test levels". Is there any way to see footage of them?
Randomly looking up images of Epic Mickey on Google Images and I came across this. http://artbydannymoll.com/epicmickey2/6kgifkpqlj62gs8fjwwmucqpnz5r2n You guys are welcome.
Warren Spector is doing an interview on Twitch. Really wish he told this in advance. I just found out about this. He didn't say he was doing it until an hour ago. https://t.co/amawgyN9Vp
What's this I see about EM2 test levels? Were they recently discovered?
Hey guys now I have not been on here for months, so I guessed I should come back so here I am! Plz make sure to say hi to me again Thx! Bye!
Hello! I'm in my 3rd day into my senior year! Now that I've got access to the internet from something that isnt a phone, I'll try my best to edit as much as I can!
So, searching through mcbasilrocks's tumblr account, I found a very exciting piece of information. Here it is.
OH. MY. GOD. You know how there was that huge thing over EM2 being unfinished? Well guess what I found on Wikipedia today? I was searching through the archives of the EM2 page (y'know, like you do) and found a really old plot summary written about 2 months after EM2 was announced, but was actually pulled by Disney themselves due to, I quote: ‘unauthorised leak’. Here it is.
The game is set some time after the original Epic Mickey. The Mad Doctor, whom Mickey defeated in the first game, mysteriously returns to the Wasteland, despite having been supposedly blown up in the first game. He claims to have realized the error of his ways, and…
Sorry I've been mostly AWOL from the Wiki! I'm back now, and I've been finding out a bit of information about some stuff that was apparently cancelled at the last moment for EM2. I'll be adding it to the Wiki soon!

This is a long post, but you'll see. My point is that in his songs, the Mad Doctor never lies. He uses willingly ambiguous words that are taken in a way that is actually not the truth by most of the characters, but which can be reinterprated in a way that don't contradict the Mad Doc's true plans. WATCH AS I EVIDENCE.

Friends, friends, friends, I stand before you a changed man!
I've seen the error of my ways and now I've got a plan.

Hi, starting yesterday I'm makeing some improvements to my profile page So make sure to stop by to see the additions, bye!
You know, yesterday was my 10 day wikiversery! (Yes, I made that a thing) It doesn't feel like 10 days,
I just wanna say that you guys are awesome!
That's it for today, Bye!:)
Hey guys, have you heard? I created a new article! It's about thinner Mickey so, I hope you can go check it out, Bye!
P.s sorry the title was gonna say "thinner Mickey"😛
Obviously we wouldn't have much to say besides saying that a film was wanted and had an unseen trailer, but idk if we should just add that to the trivia section of the first game, or make a new page entirely.
I'm planning a slideshow series for my YouTube channel for Epic Mickey called Epic Mickey: The Forgotten and the Lost. It is based on the first game's beta and is set after Epic Mickey 2 but won't resolve the sequel hook. The series is set in WasteWorld, where things go if they don't end up in Wasteland. Mickey, Oswald, and Gus are pulled into WasteWorld by an alternate version of the Blot, who merges with an evil version of Oswald named Anti-Oswald to become the Storm Blot. Peter Pg, who has becomes corrupt tyrant mad with power after an experiment gone wrong, is creating BeetleWorx and sending them to do his bidding. Mickey, Oswald, and Gus must team up to stop the Storm Blot from destroying WasteWorld and entering Wasteland and the Toon…
Due to my school having Reddit blocked, I decided to see if any gaming websites had anything to report from it. Turns out, NintendoLife did! Boy, did this bum me out. Epic Mickey has so much potential, and Disney put them under so many restrictions with budget and time. It's amazing how good the games turned out to be, despite all the limitations. However, it's really depressing since Epic Mickey's future is very uncertain. Why didn't Disney want that movie? Since Disney refuses to listen to the consumer base that isn't using Frozen merchandise, I'd doubt they'd listen to only a few of us. I hope we can find more people out there who want to see the series return, whether it be comics, another game, a reboot, or a film. The series is one o…
I asked Warren Specter on Twitter why Prescott changes color, and here's what I got: https://mobile.twitter.com/Warren_Spector/status/593025039395487746 Well. Now we know the answer to that.
There's a podcast on Gameinformer with Warren Spector, maybe there's some new info we can add to the wiki about the development of Epic Mickey? Also, the other day on Twitter, Warren said he was doing a reddit AMA on April 30th. Make sure you get there and ask him plenty of Epic Mickey questions!
