Bridge Repair is a quest given by Clarabelle Cow upon Mickey's first visit to OsTown, alongside Noisy Safe.
Summary[]
After Mickey meets up with Clarabelle, she mentions that in order to get to Mickeyjunk Mountain, Mickey will need to repair the bridge leading there. She's say that there was a gremlin handyman who could fix the bridge, but she hasn't seen him in awhile. She also says that a safe hanging above the Gag Factory making a lot of noise and askes Mickey to investigate that.
After talking to Moody, who is directly under the safe, he askes Mickey to paint his house to help remember the combination. He can either do as Moody tells him, or he can just thin the beam supporting it, crushing Moody underneath. Either option will get the safe is opened, revealing Gremlin Prescott.
Afterwards, Prescott will ask for his wrench, which was taken from him by the Telephone in Mickey's House. Mickey talks to the living phone, who askes Mickey to paint in 3 telephone boxes throughout the town. Mickey can either do Telephone's request or let Prescott into the house and get his wrench himself as well as dismantling the phone out of revenge. Regardless of choice, Prescott will get his wrench back, and he will repair the bridge.
Trivia[]
- It is possible to completely avoid this quest as well as Noisy Safe, Paint Moody's House, Gremlin Prescott's Wrench, and OsTown Phone Network by damage-hopping to the right side of the closed bridge, aligning Mickey with the small opening between the bridge and the wall, and repeatedly jumping and performing the Spin Move to slip through the crack. This trick is often used in speedrunning, but is useful in repeat playthroughs as well.
