| “ | Well, after you beat the Blot, the Thinner seas went away and left all this junk behind. | ” |
Disney Gulch is a location within the Epic Mickey series. It's a twisted landscape of canyons and old forgotten Disney memorabilia. It is Wasteland's version of Frontierland from the Disney Parks. Disney Gulch is separated into two areas, the Canyon and the Bridge.
History[]
Past[]
After the defeat of The Blot, the Thinner in this area receded revealing the desert and leaving behind tons of trash, later on pioneer Toons arrived in the gulch and constructed the Saloon. The Mad Doctor would also crash into the gulch around this time and built his new lab and the bridge.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two[]
Mickey and Oswald pass through Disney Gulch to reach the Disney Gulch Laboratory, this is done by instruction of the Mad Doctor. They arrive in the first area and are presented with a Spatter who is running on top of a Battery Sphere. The Battery Sphere gets lodged into a geyser and gets blown on top of a spinning rock. Mickey learns how to use Guardians and how the Guardian Pools work. The Mad Doctor instructs him to put the battery spheres into the train to power it so Mickey and Oswald can go to the bridge area.
Area Layout[]
The Canyon[]
This area is surrounded by a rock wall. On the north side there is a Projector and a D.E.C. to Angel/Devil Caverns. The projector is on a higher platform and can only be accessed by using the elevator when shocked. A large guardian pool flows through the area. On the west side is a dinosaur skeleton and the train. On the east side is a saloon. In the center is a water tower and a pile of rocks with a spinning rock on top. The area has multiple cow skulls and cacti. In the northeast is a rock on a geyser under a nook in the wall boarded up with Toon planks with Gremlin Griff trapped in it.
The Bridge leading to the Disney Gulch Laboratory
The Bridge[]
This area is two landmasses connected by a bridge made of Disney memorabilia. On the west landmass is the train and the Jiminy Cricket head. On the east landmass is the projector to the Disney Gulch Laboratory. Inside the Jiminy head is a shortcut which can be opened with a generator on the southern edge of the landmass.
Gameplay[]
The Canyon[]
There are three battery spheres, only one is needed to power the train, but this will affect the condition of the bridge in the next area. Inputting all three spheres will make the bridge safer to cross. The spheres need to be inputted into the receptacle on the ground between the staircase and the train. The Battery sphere locations are:
- Under the water tower, thin the cacti around the the tower to transform the guardian pool to neutral or thinner state, thin the water tower's supports and it will fall over.
- Inside the saloon, paint all of the building's toon to open the door, or thin the bottom of the saloon to cause it to collapse.
- On top of the giant boulder (a Spatter will be keeping it in position), launch a guardian to the Spatter on top of the boulder for the sphere to lower.
Enemies[]
Quests[]
Watch the Skies[]
- There is a real world item for the Watch the Skies quest above the train.
Operation Gremlin Drop[]
- Gremlin Griff - There is a Gremlin Cage behind a couple of wood bars in a nook in the wall. To access it paint in the cow skulls to plug up the geysers, this will cause all the air to push the rock making it a platform allowing Mickey to now access the Gremlin, he turns off the Spatter Tube when freed.
The Bunny Wranglers[]
- The bunny tube is next to the elevator.

If Mickey does Moody's side of the quest, Rigger Greene will go out exploring on his own and get surrounded by Blotlings. After saving Rigger Greene he will reward Mickey with the Wild Frontier pin.
The Bridge[]
There are two ways to exit from the bridge to the next area. The first projector is across the bridge. The second projector is a shortcut and will skip half the boss fight. It is inside a Jiminy Cricket head which can be opened by shocking the generator on the south cliff.
Bridge Quality[]
The state of the bridge will depend on how many spheres have been put into the train.
- The pipes will be filled with thinner and will randomly thin out the plate, the racket and the cogsworth head.
- The top hat will struggle moving and give less opportunities to hop onto the tennis racket.
- The tennis racket will randomly be thinned at times forcing Mickey to time when he jumps on to avoid falling off.
- The anvil contraption will not function, making it difficult to jump onto the umbrella.
- The cogsworth head will stay in place.
- The spring will not work, the beetle-like mechanism will not open, locking the Treasure Chest inside.
- The pipes will be filled with paint and will paint in the plate, the racket and the cogsworth head if thinned.
- The top hat will work properly, allowing Mickey to jump onto the racket much easier.
- The tennis racket will not be thinned out, moving back and forth without interruption.
- The anvil contraption will work, but it is much faster forcing Mickey to time when he jumps and it will drop him off the umbrella making him take the longer route.
- The cogsworth head will be painted in and move up and down making the jump easier to land.
- The spring will not work, the beetle-like mechanism will not open, locking the Treasure Chest inside.

- The Saloon seems to be mainly modeled after the Lucky Nugget in Disneyland Paris but it also seems to modeled after the various saloons in the Disney Parks.
- Disney Gulch, The Floatyard, Train Tunnels, and Fort Wasteland are all located within the larger Gulch area.
- The beginning of the World of Evil projector level, resembles the scrapped prototype version of Disney Gulch.
