The Disney Gulch Laboratory is owned by the Mad Doctor and is the first boss battle arena in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. It can be reached from the two projectors in Disney Gulch and the Projector next to the Train Station in Mean Street South.

The Mad Doctor, not having access to his old lab in Dark Beauty Castle, created a new lab for himself in Disney Gulch to create his machinations.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two[]
While repairing the Projector Substation in Rainbow Falls, Oswald receives a call on his Remote's radio frequency from the Mad Doctor, who tells him and Mickey to come to his lab in the Gulch. They travel through Rainbow Caverns and the rest of the Gulch to arrive there. Upon entering, they are immediately attacked by a giant Blotworx Dragon, the first boss battle of the game takes place. Mickey and Oswald have to use the facility's pipes, machines, and platforms above the lava to get around the Dragon and fight it. The Boss has two phases and the lava at the bottom of the lab will fill up.

After the defeat or redemption of the Dragon, the Mad Doctor falls out of the window of a higher-story room and onto the platform Mickey, Oswald, and Gus are on. They rush over to help him and find that his failing mechanical parts caused him to fall and are creating more bodily problems for him. In the Doctor's song, I'm Falling Apart, he explains how he turned himself animatronic to control the Blot, but it has now come back to bite him as he is losing his ability to stay both intact and, potentially, alive. Mickey, Oswald and Gus leave through the projector back to Mean Street.
Area Layout[]
The first floor is a couple of metal platforms above a floor of lava, the Dragon emerges from the hole in the centre. The secret projector leads to a couple of metal platforms with a chest on it between the first and second floor. Once the second phase begins access opens to the second floor which can be reached by using the stone staircase or by jumping to the metal platforms and thinning the pipes to create a path. The second floor is a massive metal platform with 3 reprogrammable spatter generators and 3 pillars holding up the roof. On the metal platform is the projector to Mean Street South.
Gameplay[]
Instructions for the boss battle are on the Blotworx Dragon page. The staircase is thinnable which can be both to Mickey's aid and detriment as the boss will breath thinner on the staircase, but Mickey can use the thinner to also thin the pipe to get to the second floor.

- Special: (Ring of Fire) Gained by thinning the Dragon. (Can be purchased from the Pin Trader.)
- Bronze: Right in front of the secret entrance. Can be jumped down to from the top of the arena.
- Silver: Halfway up the staircase between boss stages is a ledge with a chest.
- Gold: On the second floor, left most side is a higher platform and a thinnable wall. Behind the wall is the chest containing the pin.

Trivia[]
- There are two ways to enter the lab: either by using the main entrance at the end of the Junk Bridge, or opening a secret entrance inside a large Jiminy Cricket head.
- In the digicomics, Tales of Wasteland, the Mad Doctor's Gulch lab may have actually appeared in the story "Oswald the Lucky Duck" since the lab is depicted to be in a desert environment.
