Wiki Content Moderator

A content moderator is responsible for helping wiki editors in need of assistance, rolling back and vandalism/false information, and ensuring that the quality of the wiki's articles remains consistent with the style guidelines. An ideal candidate for this position would be an experienced wiki editor who is well-versed in the rules and style guidelines and is willing to help others.

Valuable traits:

  • A Fandom account with relevant and recent activity on the wiki.
  • No blocks or warnings within the past 365 days.
  • A strong familiarity with the Epic Mickey Wiki's rules and style guidelines.
  • Strong knowledge of Epic Mickey canon, development history, and gameplay features.
  • Good attention to detail for spelling and grammar errors.
  • An openness to answering questions and helping other users.
  • Previous experience with moderating Fandom wikis.

Permissions granted:

  • Warning users of editing-related infractions
  • Editing and moving fully protected pages/files
  • Protecting and unprotecting pages/files
  • Deleting and undeleting pages/files
  • Rollback

Discussions Moderator

A discussions moderator is responsible for ensuring that discussions on Fandom and Discord remain civil and rule compliant. An ideal candidate for this role would friendly, helpful, approachable, and familiar with the community rules of the Epic Mickey Wiki.

Valuable traits:

  • Recent activity on the Epic Mickey Wiki website and/or Discord server for at least 2 months (applicants need not have previous activity on both, but will be expected to moderate both if chosen).
  • No bans or mutes within the past 365 days.
  • A strong familiarity with the Epic Mickey Wiki's rules on Fandom and Discord.
  • A history of being friendly, approachable, and understanding to other users.
  • The ability to handle situations professionally and politely.
  • Experience with Fandom and/or Discord's features and moderation tools.
  • Knowledge of Epic Mickey canon/lore.

Permissions granted:

  • Warning users of community-related infractions
  • Deleting and editing article comments
  • Deleting blog comments
  • Managing Discussions categories and moving topics between them
  • Moderating the Discussions feature
  • Deleting messages from the Discord server
  • Muting members of the Discord server
