Fanny Cottontail is a scrapped character who appeared in the older Oswald the Lucky Rabbit cartoons. She was supposed to appear in Epic Mickey as Oswald's love interest, but she was replaced by Ortensia. Likely due to Ortensia herself being based off all of Oswald's love interests.
In Epic Mickey[]
Most concept art featuring Fanny had her happily together with Oswald as the queen of Wasteland. It is unclear if she was meant to suffer the similar fate of Ortensia, or if she would stay active throughout this draft of the game's story
In Epic History[]
Fanny also intended to appear in the cancelled MMO game, Epic History, according to model sheets. Her design was also meant to be used for one of the game's class, called the Lucky Rabbit.
Trivia[]
- It is certainly possible that Fanny is still somewhere in Wasteland as she is an important forgotten Toon, even though she does not appear in the games.
