Sketches

The Sketch Pad with only 1 type of sketch.

S

The Sketch Pad as of Epic Mickey 2.

Sketches are items that enable Mickey to create items that are useful on his quest through the Cartoon Wasteland. There are a total of four sketches: the TV, the Watch, Anvil, and the Fairy sketch (added in Epic Mickey 2.)

In the first game, each sketch could be used as long as Mickey has enough of the sketch he's using, whereas in the second game, he can use them as many times as he likes. The same method used in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two is applied to the sketches used in Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion.

In Epic Mickey and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, Gremlin Gus will give a tutorial on how to use them.

In Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion, Scrooge McDuck sells a large quantity of them in his shop, whilst others can be found in levels.

Trivia[]

  • In the prototype of the first Epic Mickey, the button to select and use sketches was on the D-pad, instead of the + and - buttons like in the final version.
  • In the Projector Screen levels Sleeping Beauty and Fantasia, Sketches can be obtained in lieu of E-Tickets that normally appear in other 2D levels.
  • In Epic Mickey Two you can entirely beat the game without any sketches (assuming you overcharge the pumps in Ostown)
