A standard Xbox One S console
The Xbox One is a console released by Microsoft in 2013 as the successor to the Xbox 360. It has received several different hardware updates throughout the years, such as the slimmer Xbox One S and the 4K-capabale Xbox One X. The Xbox One was succeeded by the Xbox Series S and Series X, which are fully compatible with the previous generation's games.
On November 12, 2015, a dashboard update was released to allow for certain Xbox 360 games to be played on the console. On August 3, 2017, Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two was added to the library of playable Xbox 360 games, both through physical and digital copies. The game was also available on Xbox Game Pass for a time.
