Finding the Hidden Heroes is an optional side quest initiated by speaking with Seth in Mean Street South, near the Guardian pool in the center of town. After leaving Mean Street he can be found at the back of the train station through a path under it, take the right path.

Summary

Seth will alert Mickey to the existence of various Oswald and Mickey shaped objects in the world. He asks Mickey to return to him with pictures of these objects so that he can trim his flower bed to look like whichever character he gets the most pictures of.

The Emporium, Shanty Shop and Tiki Hut have Hero Maps in their catalogue to locate photo opportunities.

Mickey needs to visit Adelle's Camera Shop in Mean Street North to acquire a camera.

When using the camera, the Mickey-shaped viewfinder will turn green when a Hidden Hero is in view. Pictures of Hidden Heroes will not fill up the camera roll (neither can they be unloaded in Adelle's photo album).

Returning to Seth

When enough photos have been found, a quest turn in prompt will come up. At this point Mickey can return to Seth to turn in some photos.

If enough photos of both Mickey and Oswald have been taken, Seth will ask which set he should take. After giving him one set, it's possible to also turn in the other set. Seth will reward each turn-in with some e-tickets.

After enough turn-ins, Seth will decorate his flower garden. If photos of both Mickey and Oswald have been turned in, Mickey will get to choose who to model the flowers after. To get the Heads Up achievement, have them match the statue in OsTown (which also requires completion of the Goofy's Fountain Mishap side quest).

Wii Version Softlock

When completing this quest on the Wii version of the game, there is a chance a softlock may occur on the quest on its third phase due to Mickey not having enough hidden heroes to photograph.

Only for Wii, every hidden hero has an assigned episode, which need to match the stage of the quest for them to be counted towards the progress (e.g Stage 2 will only accept Episode 2 and 3 hidden heroes). However, there aren’t enough hidden heroes in Episode 3 areas to fulfill the quest’s requirements.

To avoid this softlock, Mickey must avoid taking pictures in Mean Street and its Underground until phase 3 of the quest, as hidden heroes in these areas are considered “wildcards” and count towards the quest in all three phases.

2	Mickey	Climb onto the platforms. A belt is holding up a piece of metal, the belt needs to be thinned to let down the piece of metal to reveal the hidden hero.
3	Mickey	To the right of the Mad Doctor's snow globe is another secret room. Use the fairy sketch on the fireworks to bring it closer to the blue wall and light them off. Be careful! The fireworks can be flung by the gas pumps. The hidden hero is behind the chest.

Trivia

• The Hidden Mickey on the Windmill can actually be taken while it is fixed, however it is very difficult to do so.
• There are many locations at which there looks to be a Hidden Hero, but it does not count, perhaps by error or just coincidence. These are examples of some of the most egregious.

Bog Easy	Unlike the hidden Oswalds in OsTown, this Oswald on the train station is not a hidden hero.
