Gremlin Mortimer is a Gremlin who was planned for Epic Mickey but was scrapped late in development for unknown reasons.
His existence was discovered through text in the files of the final game, where he was meant to be a caged Gremlin that Mickey could rescue in The Mad Doctor's Lab, but would only be discoverable upon the second visit when Mickey had access to Paint and Thinner. Upon finding him, Gremlin Gus's line was "It's Mortimer. Has he been here the whole time?"

Gremlin Mortimer would have been the only caged Gremlin since Lonesome Manor if he had not been removed.
