Grief Tower is the second fireworks tower that Mickey must climb in order to light the fireworks to defeat the Blot.

Gameplay[]

After making his way here from Sorrow Tower, Mickey is faced with climbing the very tall Grief Tower via a spiral ramp. He will have to cross a bridge to get to the tower, and inside, he will have to patch up coats-of-arms to stop Mini-Bloticles from attacking him from the wall.

The Blot is actively crashing his arms through the tower, destroying half of the floor inside. This makes a lot of gaps that Mickey must cross, with a lot of them being very close calls. In here is the second time that the Blot can be seen outside of a cutscene, when he breaks even more floor than usual, barely missing Mickey.

As soon as the mouse reaches the top, he has to face the Blot again in a mini-boss fight, while he spins gargoyles and paints them in. As soon as Mickey is done, the gargoyles light up the activation crystal, whos power repels the Blot. After setting the fireworks, Mickey is ready to enter the Projector Screen to Loss Tower.

Hints[]

  • As soon as Mickey enters the area, go directly to the left, where there will be a small balcony with a chest containing a pin.
  • During the climb, there will be a piece of Extra Content on the far right, over a small gap. Mickey will have to jump to get it, and then double jump to get to safety.
  • In the room with the Projector to Loss Tower, in the left window is another piece of Extra Content.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first Fireworks Tower to have enemies.
  • In the background, there are multiple castle spires with lights on in the windows. It is unknown why they would be on, or who is inside there, if anyone.
    • The spires could possibly be just for decoration.
