Help the Ghost in the Foyer is a quest in Epic Mickey. It involves freeing Screeching Sam, a ghost who has been trapped inside a vase and helping him call down the restless spirits in the foyer.

To free Sam, Mickey must find his Then, he must step on a nearby pressure plate and then place an Anvil Sketch on another nearby plate. Doing this opens the bars locking in Sam's vase. Mickey can then use a Spin Move on the vase to open it, freeing Sam.
After rescuing him, he tells Mickey to paint the two skulls hidden within the foyer to calm down the spirits and allow him to access to rest of the mansion.
If you take the alternative route by freeing Gremlin Haig, then Sam will be stuck in the vase. Failing the quest, unless you exit the game.
