Hook's Cutlass is a quest item in Epic Mickey, as its name implies, it is a cutlass that once belonged to Animatronic Hook.
It is used in the quest "Museum Power Spark", one of the two quests Mickey can persue to complete "OsTown Projector Screen", where Mickey must find Power Sparks to fix the Projector Screen Machine.
Laralee at the Museum has a Power Spark for display and will trade it to Mickey for something more interesting, and says Mickey can look for something at the Cinema. The Usher has the cutlass and will give it to Mickey for free if the player has given him at least one film reel already. If not, the cutlass costs 30 E-Tickets. The cutlass will then be up on display at the Museum for the remainder of the game. Mickey will also get the special "Swashbuckler" Pin for completing this quest.
Trivia[]
- The Usher says that the cutlass was left at his theater by Hook. This was likely before his conversion to animatronic.
- Since Hook is later seen with another sword, it is implied that the cutlass in the Cinema is one of many.
- If this path of the quest is chosen, it is the first mention of anything pirate-related in the game, as well as the first mention of Captain Hook prior to Ventureland.
