A Knothole Surprise is a small prank hidden behind a Toon fixture, playing a scary sound effect when activated. The Knothole Surprises can be found throughout Wasteland, but are mainly in Bog Easy. They are needed for the Challenge "Not-So-Sleepy-Hollow".
Locations[]
Bog Easy[]
- The first Knothole Surprise is in Old Town (Area 1). It can be activated by thinning out a tree near the right side of the dock (near the Beetleworx Replicator).
- The second Knothole Surprise is in Area 2. You can find it by thinning a tree to the right of the Jug Band.
- The last 4 Knothole Surprises are near the Cemetery in Area 3. One is found by thinning a mound of dirt to the right of the gate (when facing the gate from the inside of the Cemetery).
- Another is found by thinning out a stone plaque located on the steel fence, to the right of where Sparks' Gear is found.
- The second-to-last Knothole Surprise is activated by thinning out a tree located to the left of the large closing door (with the Bunny Hat inside).
- The final Knothole Surprise is activated by thinning out a tree located to the right of the same closing door.
Trivia[]
- The name "Not So Sleepy Hollow" is based off of the 1949 Disney film "The Legend of the Sleepy Hollow".
- Occasionally a Knothole Surprise can reward Mickey with a White E-Ticket.
- Despite the fact that they are called "Knothole" surprises, two of the surprises are not related to Knotholes at all.
