I've noticed the Enemies and Villains categories contain mostly the same characters. However, the characters listed under Enemies in the wiki navigation and the description on the category's page seem to indicate that the enemies category is more intended for generic enemies such as Blotlings and Beelteworx and not for boss characters such as the Blot and Mad Doctor. Would you be in support of organizing these categories to be more distinct?
It would go something like this:
Bosses => Villains
Spatters, Beetleworx, Lost Characters, etc. => Enemies
If you wanna be an admin, you should contact OswaldisCool and see what he can do about it. You also probably need to be more trusted, so they know you can get rid of junk and inappropriate stuff that people sometimes post. Since this wiki is not visited often, though, you should be fine. The only problem is that GremlinPrescott doesn't visit this wiki anymore. He's on the Lion King wiki a lot, so you can try to contact him there, maybe? I really dunno. Since we've upgraded to the new message walls, he might get your message sooner.
Sorry, but I also don't see how being an Admin will help with edits... I'm an admin on a tiny wiki, and I can't do much more than I can here except set the rules and general wiki design.
Thanks for reorganizing the Beetleworx gallery! I was dreading doing going through and screenshotting all of the different designs. That will make it easier to check which of the Beetleworx I found in a test level go unused.
That's literally awesome! It's kinda a shame three of those didn't get used. The Hopper possibly could’ve been used in Ventureland, the Basher would obviously been in Autotopia due to it being on a build board, and the Spinner also could've been used for Autotopia as well maybe. Glad I could help! GoombaBroadcast (talk) 22:34, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
Hi, I saw you've been trying to contact the leader of the Epic Team for info on how he got those charcter models. If you don't get a reply from him it's because he's a little busy with Youtube and his game he's making.
I actually didn't know he's on this wiki! He probably liked my Epic Oswald page idea. Anyway, I dunno, but it might be a better idea to contact him on the Epic Team wiki. Just a guess. He might not even be on there anymore.
Okay, I messed up. It seems that the Epic Team Wiki (DO NOT VISIT IT) is a "junked" wiki. There's a lot of stupid stuff on it and whoever Spekiii is, he's either not the owner of the Epic Team (unlikely) or he's the real owner but he doesn't run the wiki (highly possible). Anyway, if you can get ahold of him, please tell him to stop letting rude and amateur developers join and wreck his team. If I wasn't already familiar with the Epic Team, I would have a very bad impression of them right now.
Hmm, strange. I'll probably just try asking after after Epic Oswald releases so I can further inspect the visuals (That and perhaps by then the Models Resource might just happen to get the models anyways assuming my theory is correct). Oh, and don't worry about bothering me, they've been very relevant concerns over the wiki and that's just what the Message Wall is for! 👍
By the way, the best way to follow the Epic Team is on their YouTube channel. They have some pretty cool videos on Epic Oswald already. GameJolt is where they'll post the game, so they also have some soundtrack downloads there which are kinda cool.
