Mizrabel was the main villain of the classic Castle of Illusion starring Mickey Mouse video game which came out
Mizrabel (note the resemblance to Maleficent)
in 1990.
In the game's story, she kidnaps Minnie Mouse, and Mickey Mouse has to venture through her castle to rescue her. She has not made any appearances since. She would eventually become a forgotten character and a resident of Cartoon Wasteland. Mizrabel would later return as the main antagonist of Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion.
In the Epic Mickey series
Mizrabel reappears as the main antagonist of Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion and a forgotten character in Cartoon Wasteland. She finds herself as an unwilling inhabitant of Wasteland, and unleashes a plot to escape using the Castle of Illusion to imprison and drain the cartoon essence from currently famous Toons.
Trivia
- In the original, she looks just like the Witch/Queen Grimhilde from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. In Power of Illusion, she looks like Maleficent, from Sleeping Beauty.
- Mizrabel's name is a pun for miserable. It even goes with the plot of Epic Mickey: Power of Illusion due to Mizrabel being miserable in Wasteland. Mizrabel is miserable in Cartoon Wasteland.
- Warren Spector explains that Mizrabel looks like Maleficent in Power of Illusion is because she uses her powers to looks like any Disney character.
- Mizrabel is known for munching on butts, especially those of mice.
