Mt. Osmore Slopes is the third explorable level of Mickeyjunk Mountain. It is just outside Oswald's Sanctuary, which is guarded by a giant door.
In Epic Mickey[]
After chasing the Lucky Rabbit since Dark Beauty Castle, and braving the first two levels of Mickeyjunk Mountain, Mickey and Gus finally arrive at the Slopes, the location of the entrance to Oswald's Sanctuary. Upon exiting the Projector Screen, Mickey is confronted by Jack Trade, who informs him and Gus that the door blocking Oswald's Sanctuary is out of commission. After receiving the quest Knock Knock, the player is faced with two available paths here:
1) Battle or befriend the Blotlings surrounding the area so Jack can open the door for you. Regardless of how you handle the Blotlings, this is considered the thinner route.
2) Go to the side of the mountain and fix the machinery yourself to operate the door. This is considered the paint route, as Gus commends Mickey for not fighting the enemies.
After either route, the door to Mt. Osmore Caverns is opened, and Mickey is able to finally meet Oswald for the first time. Mickey can also explore a side path of the mountain, traversing a waterfall of thinner and masses of machinery and junk to find Gilda's climbing axe.

The "Mickey's Birthday" poster
Hints[]
- To complete the Gilda's Lost Axe quest, Mickey must find and Paint certain machineries to climb his way to the Collector's Hut to retrieve the axe.
- If Mickey walks through the "Mickey's Birthday" poster to the left of the big door (not thin it out, just walk through the poster), then he will find himself in a half basketball court where he can find a collectable Pin. In the remake, the poster is solid and does require thinning to access.
- In the same court, Mickey must get launched by the steam blower into the basketball net to unlock the Extra Content piece "Epic Mickey."

Trivia[]

Mickey in the basketball court
- The basketball court in this area is a direct reference to the basketball court in the actual Matterhorn attraction in Disneyland.
- If the player chooses to fix the door rather than battle the Blotlings, they can see that when Mickey steps past the door frame, the Spatters will shake their fists and such, but will only follow him up to that point. They will not enter Oswald's Sanctuary.
