OsTown Phone Network is a quest given by the Telephone in OsTown.
Summary[]
Mickey can only receive this quest after freeing Gremlin Prescott. When Mickey enters Mickey's House, the telephone will at first refuse to give Mickey Prescott's Wrench, but seeing Mickey really needs the wrench, he decides to give him the wrench if he restores his signal to Mean Street.
Around Ostown are 4 Telephone Boxes, one being already painted in on the side of Mickey's house. The other 3 Telephone boxes are located:
- on the roof of the Gag Factory.
- underneath Clarabelle Cow's garden.
- behind a toon wall that can be thinned near the Gag Factory.
When leaving Mickey's house, Prescott will be waiting outside. He will ask Mickey to let him inside his house to forcefully get his wrench back. If Mickey says yes, this will fail the quest and it cannot be finished. If Mickey says no, you will have to finish the quest to progress any further.
Once all 3 telephone boxes are painted back in, Mickey can return to the Telephone. He will reward Mickey with a bronze pin for his effort and give him Prescott's wrench, allowing Mickey to progress to Mickeyjunk Mountain. Before Mickey leaves, he will ask him if he can enter the number 726 on one of the telephone dials in Mickeyjunk Mountain, giving him the Mickeyjunk Mountain Phone Network quest. This quest is optional and is not necessary to progress the game's story.
