Pirates are an NPC type and allies in Epic Mickey and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two.

Summary[]
After Animatronic Captain Hook was prevented from fighting with Pete Pan, he went berserk and started forcing his crew into the Pirate Conversion Machine. Pirates soon got word of his state, and kept clear of Captain Hook, escaping to Ventureland. Many were happy to assist Mickey Mouse in his quest to save Wasteland. Although they usually ask him to do some favors for them, like painting their house, helping them to win the affections of their crushes, or retrieving their belongings.
If Mickey fixes the machine, than those residing in Ventureland go back to where they live, if he ignores it, than they decide to stay in Ventureland.

Trivia[]
- There's 3 unseen in-game pirate characters seen in the cutscenes, sporting unique designs than the ones seen in the actual game.
