Rainbow Caverns is a bridge between Rainbow Falls to Disney Gulch divided into two parts, Angel and Devil caverns. Whether Mickey and Oswald destroyed the Projector Substation or not they will end up in either Angel Caverns (if they fix it) or Devil Caverns (if they destroy it). It was one of the first attractions built in Wasteland and according to Gremlin Gus, the caverns were not built by Oswald. It seems that no-one in Wasteland knows how they were formed.
Story[]
Past[]
The Angel side wasn't formed naturally, but it also wasn't created by Oswald. It is unknown how the caverns were formed, but it is implied the seven sisters (the fairies) had some hand in it. The Devil side is mentioned by Gus to have been built by the Mad Doctor to utilize the energy to power Wasteland.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two[]
Mickey and Oswald arrive in the caverns from Rainbow Falls and must pass through to get to Disney Gulch.
Area Layout[]
Angel Caverns[]
The Angel side is an homage to the Seven Sisters of Wasteland and the Angel. On the opposite end is a massive angel holding a sword. The angel's wings are in the walls. The Devil caverns is viewable on the left, on the right side is pillars which can be used to reach a couple items. The Ink Well near the entrance of this area also resembles the statues of the Seven Sisters.
Devil Caverns[]
The Devil side has a massive devil head and spirits in the walls. In between the D.E.C.s is a maze made of lava supposedly made by the Mad Doctor. Within the maze is wrench stuck into metal bits in the ground. On the left side is the lava falls on the right is the angel side. On the immediate left of the D.E.C. entrance is a nook in the wall, on the immediate right is an ink well.
Gameplay[]
Angel Caverns[]
Oswald must stand on a button with the face of the Angel, in order to make the Angel lift up her sword. The sword itself is entirely Toon, and Sweepers (replaced by Tankers after Episode 1) will throw thinner at the sword in an attempt to thin it.
Quests[]
Watch the Skies[]
The real is a world item, a fan, it is on one of the columns with the sweepers/tankers on the left side.
The Encyclopedia Wastelandica[]
Challenges[]
- Fall from Grace: Completed by entering Rainbow Caverns through the Angel Side, and exiting through the Devil Side.
Pins[]
- Special: (Angels Dancing pin) Found in a chest behind a toon wall on the right side at the end of the column path.
- Silver: Thin the angel statue, it is inside.
Devil Caverns[]
In the Devil Caverns, Mickey and Oswald must turn various Gremlin Wrenches in an attempt to redirect the heating systems, and navigate the maze. The maze can be skipped by turning the ink well to indelible ink or jumping on top of the metal bars and walking across. The centre of the maze has a wrench, if turned it will deactivate the lava. Next to the devil head is a wrench, once turned its mouth will open and allow Mickey and Oswald to enter the D.E.C to Disney Gulch. The Ink Well near the entrance of this area resembles a demon.

Trivia[]
- The two Fairy statues on the Angel Side of Rainbow Caverns can be lifted by a Fairy Sketch and can be pushed. If pushed off the side into the abyss you'll see spirits flying everywhere though they will disappear upon revisiting the area, and the statues will not respawn. Gus mentions that perhaps they will help Mickey and Oswald, though how they do is unknown. This may have been part of a scrapped idea.
