Recover Horace's Book is a quest given to Mickey by Horace as a part of the OsTown Projector Screen quest.
Summary[]
After being told by Gremlin Markus that he needs two gears to get the machine to power up the projectors working again, Mickey needs to get the gears back from Horace and Big Bad Pete. Mickey will find Horace at Horace's Detective Agency, the building with the magnifying glass above the door. Horace will tell Mickey that he will give him the gear if he can help find his book. He lent to Casey at the Emporium, which is right across the street with the building that has the present over the door.
Once Mickey talks to Casey, he tells Mickey that he finished the book and lent it to Paulie at the Ice Cream Parlor. Mickey must then retrieve the book from Paulie. Once he's done that, he can return to Horace and talk to him to complete the quest. Horace will thank Mickey for returning his book, which is revealed to be titled "How to be a Detective" and will give Mickey the gear he promised.
