Ruffian Branderson is a prisoner of the Tortooga Jail in Epic Mickey.
In Epic Mickey[]
Alongside his mates, Cutpurse Tycho and Scallywag Gabe, he is incarcerated in Tortooga and pleas for Mickey to let him out. Unlike the other prisoners, it is necessary to release him, as he is the culprit who stole Beluga Billy's lost belongings. He must be freed with a jail cell key, of which there are three locations to find one in:
- Under a bridge next to the water wheel
- Atop the Governor's Mansion
- Inside the Tortooga Jail chimney
Upon his being freed, Branderson will open the gate to the basement of the Governor's Mansion where Spatters are guarding Beluga Billy's treasure. Mickey must use a Watch Sketch to spin all the gears in time to open a secret hatch containing the goods. After returning them to Billy, he and Gus progress to the Jungle.
Second Visit to Tortooga[]
If th e player completed the Quest Hostiles in the Jungle, Ruffian Branderson and the other prisoners will be patroling the docks after fending off Bashers and Spatters.
If spoken to, he will refill Mickey's Thinner, if he is not full.
