Spatter Tubes are pipes often appearing out of walls or rock in which Spatters and other Blotlings spawn from.
Mechanics[]
Spatters can spawn from Spatter tubes, and whenever Mickey defeats a Spatter from a Tube (not painting) another one will drip out of the tube. Another way Spatters can spawn from Spatter Tubes is by being summoned by Seers in Epic Mickey.
Strategies[]
Since defeating Spatters with Thinner will cause there to be an infinite flow of them (with the exception of a few tubes), the best way to deal with Spatters when a Spatter Tube is nearby is for Mickey to use Paint or Tints to befriend the Spatters. Befriended Spatters will not cause another Spatter to drip out of the Tube. However, if the befriended Spatter is defeated by other Blotlings or is somehow defeated/destroyed, another Spatter will spawn. The Spatter simply losing it's Paint due to other Blotlings attacking it will not cause another Spatter to spawn.
Another way Mickey can deal with Spatter Tubes is by rescuing Gremlins. For example, the Green Gremlin in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two in Disney Gulch will shut off the Spatter Tube by the Saloon if Mickey rescues him, resulting in no additional Spatters spawning, even if all surrounding Spatters are defeated. However, this strategy is rarely available, so it is usually more effective for Mickey to paint the Spatters.
