Tomy-Takara was formed on March 1 2006 as a result of a merge between the company Takara and their rival company Tomy. The legal name of the new company is K. K. Takara-Tomy. The company is known for their toys, and has previously manufactured lines such as Transformers and Beyblades, as well as having products based on video games.[1]
