The Castaway is a set of two Projector Screens in Ventureland and Pirates of the Wasteland in Epic Mickey. It is based on the 1931 cartoon short of the same name. Inside Parts I and II are recreated scenes of Mickey's raft getting caught in stormy waves and crashing on a tropical island. The player must traverse the aforementioned waves and hostile fish, avoid the swinging spiders and hop across tortoises to the end Projector.
The Projectors transport Mickey to Tortooga and Pirate Voyage, respectively.

Scene I[]
The reel is found by going the top route. It's atop the tree before the gorilla.
Scene II[]
Use the spiders to climb to the top of the final tree in the level to claim your reel.
In Epic Mickey: Rebrushed[]
Scene I[]
The first reel is on an island to the left of the raft you spawn on.
The second reel is obtained by climbing the middle island's tree and platforming across the seagulls.
Scene II[]
The first reel is atop a massive tree. Ground pound the piano and ride the music notes for ease of passage.
The second reel is found beyond the exit screen. Climb over the cliff and claim it among the trash.
Trivia[]
- The background music is reused from Gilda's races.
- This is another Projector Screen to get a complete rework in Rebrushed.
- Scene I is completely based upon Mickey drifting on the raft.
- Scene II is based off the island itself, even having the piano from the original cartoon as an interactable prop.
