The Observatory is located at the top of the museum on Mean Street South in Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two. It is owned and run by Gremlin Copernicus who is fascinated of Real World items that "are neither toon nor inert". In the quest Watch the Skies, he asks the player to collect them. Then he can give them to any character the quest works with.
Location[]
The observatory is located on the top floor of the Mean Street Museum building. It can be reached by a lift behind the museum building. On the player's first visit to the back of the museum, Gus makes a remark that a tireless search goes on at the observatory for the link between the cartoon world and Wasteland.
Quests[]
The only quest involved with the museum is Watch the Skies. It is given by either Laralee or Copernicus. Either path of this quest can be chosen. There are bugs with the observatory path of this quest on some platforms. For either paths, the player will need to collect the following cartoon world items:
- Silly Symphony Fan in Rainbow Caverns | in the platforms of the Angel side.
- A bottle cap in Disney Gulch | in the left ear of the pig face above the train.
- A lunchbox with Pete's Dragon face | in one of the platforms of the Mad Doctor's Lab.
- A sugar bowl resembling a pirate skull | in the Club 13 area of Blot Alley.
- A milk bottle with Donald Duck's face | in the entrance to the inside part of Fort Wasteland (reachable from the Gremlin Cage)
- A stopwatch with the Three Pigs | in the Toon Chasm in the inside of The Float Yard.
- A race car with Goofy as the driver | in the second part of Autotopia.
- A snow globe | in one of the platforms inside the Mad Doctor's Ride.
