Thru the Mirror is a Projector Screen in Epic Mickey that connects Mean Street to OsTown. It is based on the 1936 cartoon short of the same name.
Inside is recreated the scene where Mickey first breaches his mirror and is transported to a world where everything is reversed and has come alive. Mickey has to traverse obstacles such as flying cards, a spinning globe, and the King of Hearts. At the end of the level, Mickey exits a copy of the mirror into a mirrored version of his room from the beginning. From there he can exit to OsTown. If the player wishes to travel back to Mean Street, they can simply repeat the Projector level backwards.
Trivia[]
- This is one of three Projectors in the game that can be backtracked through, depending on which direction you are going the level subtly changes to allow ease of travel.
- Using a spin attack on the Queen of Hearts will spin her and make her giggle awarding you with some E-Tickets.
- Unlike Most 2D Levels, where E-Tickets will be drawn toward Mickey when he gets close, Thru the Mirror doesn't have this element, and Mickey will have to touch the E-Tickets to collect them.
